First Entry!!!

Well, actually my first entry was killed by my computer deciding it no longer wanted to run the internet, but this second-first entry will still rock! So lets start with my day:
I woke up at 7:00AM for work as usual. I carried my unsatisfactorily awake body up the stairs to the kitchen. I hastily grabbed appealing refridgerator items at will and compiled a lunch for the day. Then I cooked my usual morning breakfast meal: A Bacon Egg and Cheese Pillsbury Toaster Scrambler (cooked to perfection I might add). I prepared my water to hydrate me through the upcoming sweltering summer day, grabbed my glove and lunch, and sat in my father's car. Listening to my favorite classic rock station 95.9 The Fox, my dad drove me to work, and halted at the main entrance to Brunswick School (arbitrarily 15 yards from the closest point to the Baseball Camp entrance). Unnecessarily early again, I tapped out an improvised beat with a couple of pencils while checking-in the campers into Brunswick Baseball Camp. This week is tournament week, and my team the Norwegian Thunder (2-2) played the Little Al's (1-3). The campers (aged 9-12) started out slow as usual, apparently just waking up, but in the end managed a 14-13 victory. Our star player, Pete Harris, smacked three of his league-leading 13 homeruns: the lucky 13th a walk-off homer (meaning it won us the game). After the game, it was time for lunch (yay!). I slowly munched on my "well-prepared" meal while overseeing a few campers doing a little BP (batting practice for those who don't play baseball). After lunch, We have Afternoon Options: in which the campers can choose between a "different" array of activities usually only three (baseball, floor hockey (if there are enough kids to do it), ultimate frisbee (rarely), and football (also rarely)) and usually end up only doing baseball. So, deciding against my usual lethargy (and acknowledging a request to be a catcher (counselors have to pitch and catch to avoid campers getting hurt)) I caught for the 10 year old's baseball game today. I'm not sure who won, but it was quite fun. (haha that rhymes) At 3:00, Baseball Camp came to its sad end, at least for the day. Seeing as my father told me that morning that he would not be picking me up until 3:30, and since I was at my school, and since I felt like being a bookworm (as if I wasn't one already), I decided to check out the library. (haha pun) So, I read a guitar magazine, because I felt like it, until the time when my father was SUPPOSED to arrive. Fifteen minutes later, after aimlessly wandering throughout my school, my father finally arrives: only to tell me that he has to go inside to "sort things out" and he'll "be back scoon". If my father's ides of soon is half an hour, then he was a little late, leaving me to wait in his car for quite some time, switching between 6 radio stations listening to any song that caught my fancy. I've started to write down every song I hear (so when I get home I can be a pirate and illegally download them...shh...don't tell the feds). I arrived home and did the usual, I came up to the computer and started doing stuff...I started this entry...Oh, I was interrupted to have dinner:
Tonight my dad made us chicken (my mom and younger sister, Caity, are at some camp in Maine), had my sister Jessie and her friend Abbey make a salad for us, and some pasta. We talked to each other about our respective days: Liam, my younger brother, went working out with my dad (ahh the same athletic tactic he used on me) he subconsiously smiled as I told Liam he didn't have the muscle to ne YET. My sister, being the picky eater as usual, did not complete her meal, and after protesting my father's law of no desert without a clean plate, my father cooly replied to her: "If you throw away good food, you obviously don't have room for junk food"
So that was my day...a usual summer day...thanks for reading!
